Logo design

I've not had any spare time recently to update this blog.
Seriously, I don't know how regular bloggers find the time.
Anyway, I stumbled across this logo for a company called Soul Sister who are based in the uk. Not only do they offer splendid service but they have this wonderful, simple, logo.I love the colour choice and the clean lines. Very effective.

Polo preferences

Ok, so it’s officially approaching British wintertime. The clocks go back, we lose an hour of daylight and everybody seems to virtually hibernate.
For me, time to ditch the summer polos for something warmer.
I love my slim fit Ralph Lauren’s and I’ve found I can pretty much put them with anything. I particularly like them with chino inspired preppy shorts on the one or two days of summer we get here.
Gant are also a favourite of mine. Not slim fit but I’ve found them slimmer than Gap’s classic fits which, for me on my frame (slim 6’31/2”), gives much more of a tailored look.
Incidentaly, the number 2 found on my particular polo shirts implies a rather haphazard position on the field. Number 2 can either score themselves or pass to number 1 whilst defensively covering the other teams number 3 position. It’s good practice to have a strong player in position 2 as long as another is available for position 3 – leader.
Confused? I know I am.
At least the shirts look good.

My Fathers Boots

I lost my Father in 2004. He was a gifted artist, photographer and all round good guy. When he wasn't barefoot around our pool he virtually lived in cowboy boots. I miss him everyday and wanted to shoot something that people who knew him could relate to and which would make me smile. So this is it. Not sure if they were his favourite boots but they're certainly well worn.
